Lake's Story
For me, golf started out as one of many fun sports that I played. But I think the fire was lit when I played in my first legitimate tournament at 8 years old where I had an 8 putt at Pinehurst No. 8!

At a young age I loved the imaginative side of the game and the way I could challenge myself to hit a variety of shots. I spent countless hours shooting trick shot videos in the yard, at the lake or in the basement. But over time, "it" evolved from the backyard into something much bigger.
Along the way, I've been very fortunate to have grown my game up in an environment surrounded by a great group of junior players both locally and regionally. I've learned tons from older juniors, collegiate athletes and PGA tour pros and I've learned to play beyond my age. I've also been blessed with equally great mentors who have helped mold me into the person and the player I am today.
In 2022 I helped my 65 year old high school, JH Rose (a School with quite the golf lineage) win its first state championship. I also played in a national championship, had the longest hole in one in the Carolina's Golf Association and had my fair share of tournament success.

Today I am a sophomore with a great foundation from excellent coaches to parents and grandparents supporting my every move. And yes, I have plans to play at the next level. To say that I love all aspects of the game and that it’s made me a better person is an understatement. For me golf is a passion and an obsession but also a part of me.
WHAT’S NOT TO LOVE!!!
